As a young boy he was surrounded by music. Kris had a few musical family members, including his father and uncle. Most all of his family members were entertaining and enjoyed telling jokes and captivating an audience no matter how big or small. As an only child at the age of 12 Kris decided the time had come to pick up his dad's guitar and start learning. After learning a few chords from his father Kris began listening to the radio and picking up whatever he could and taught himself everything that he could.
Years later after school he started a band called Boxwood with some pals and played for a couple years around the Richmond Va area and up and down the east coast. Boxwood disbanded and Kris worked on his music solo for years. Now Kris Scott plays music full time and is working on a new project with some new friends and he says he can't wait to share it when it's ready. Keep you ears and eyes open.
