The National Theatre of Scotland’s incredibly popular show The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart comes to Richmond for six extraordinary and interactive performances.

One wintry morning Prudencia Hart, an uptight academic, sets off to attend a conference in Kelso in the Scottish Borders. As the snow begins to fall, little does she know who or what awaits her there. Inspired by the border ballads—and delivered in a riotous romp of rhyming couplets, devilish encounters and wild karaoke—Prudencia’s dream-like journey of self-discovery unfolds among and around the audience.

With a rollicking text by David Greig, barnstorming live music; and a ‘terrific, inventive sense of fun…’ (The Scotsman), The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart is the lock-in to end all lock-ins.

The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart is performed among the audience, so pull up a chair and wet your whistle for an incredibly inventive and entertaining piece of anarchic theatre, live music, and strange goings-on.

New Year, New Menu!

With 2016 finally here we are excited to announce that the pub has a new menu! But wait, don't worry...we made sure to keep your favorites on the list. The kitchen team has been working hard with Rob (the man, the myth, the legend) to come up with some new dishes that are sure to have your mouth watering:

First up is the Dubliner Cordon Bleu! This amazing dish includes chicken stuffed with ham and Kerry Gold Irish Cheddar served over sauteed sprouts, rosemary mash and covered in a cider cream sauce.

Next up is the Irish Pub Meatloaf made with ground beef, pork and get this...white pudding (YUM!) served with BallyMaloe gravy, mash, and pan fried cabbage and bacon. Make it a sandwich with some provolone cheese and caramelized onions!

Another favorite is the Pub Chili served in a cup or a bowl, but trust us you're going to want the bowl, it's that good! Beef and black bean chili simmered in beer and topped with cheddar or scallions.

and of course there's some other hidden gems in the new menu for you to try out, like the Cork Cuban, Chicken Melt, and Steamed Mussels.

Check out the full menu here!
