The Story of Letters from Coda
Years ago, individual Letters from Coda were found repeatedly in obscure neighborhoods surrounding Richmond, VA. Eventually one found another, and yet another. And now, these stories, these past lives, have combined into an intimate sound which amalgamated into a rich tapestry of melody and energy, united with a sense of burgeoning optimism.
You can hear it in the gracefully soulful lead vocals and harmonica of Julia Dooley (Blue Line Highway, Parsons Field), the playful elegance of Brian Nalls’ guitars (Parsons Field) and encouraging acoustic guitar phrases from Seth Roberts (Plaid, Prime George). The tenacious Eric Bowers (Bombpop, I Like Dinner) forms a solid backdrop on bass along with the vibrant Greg Collins (Parsons Field, Giant Squid!) on drums and vocals.
